1. How does Argomi matchmaking work?
A: Rather than make you build a profile and then spend hours swiping away, we build your profile ourselves! Once you sign up, you'll recieve an email or text requesting you schedule a 15-minute chat (via phone call or video chat, your choice) with one of our human matchmakers. After chatting with you, person-to-person, we'll develop an AI chatbot that represents you and monitor conversations and interactions. The best interactions become your match!
2. How do I meet my match?
A: During your 15-minute conversation with the human matchmaker, we'll get a feel for your ideal first date. Once we have your match, we'll send each of you a picture of your match, a small summary about them, and our reccomended first date for you. If both matches agree, we'll send over a date and time for you to meet!
3. Can I get my match's contact info before we meet in person (if both matches are located in the same city)?
A: You can by putting in a request during your conversation with the matchmaker, though we reccomend you don't share contact info to really make this a "we met in person" type of date.
4. I'm sick of the people in my city. Can I explore options throughout the country?
A: As the popularity of travel increases, the definition of long-distance changes. During your interest form, mark yourself as "interested in long-distance" and we'll cover the rest!
5. I'm not interested in a relationship, I'd like to focus on making friends and a social group. (Or, I'm interested in both a relationship and a social group.) Is this service still for me?
A: Absolutely! Argomi's mission statement is to make the world more interconnected amidst all the disconnectivity that technology has helped to foster. We understand-- it's hard to meet new people today. We're here to help.
6. How is this free?
A: As a start-up, we're focused on making sure our technology and algorithm works before we worry about monetization. Argomi is a company still in the theory phase, and you'll help us get it developed into a more tried-and-true product. Our way of saying thanks is by making the service free while it's still in the testing phase!
